Postnatal Pilates

This workshop will focus on regaining core strength after birth. It will bring flexibility to areas that tightened while pregnant. Also one will be provided with functional ways to use the body while in motherhood and prevent and/or reduce back pain associated with misalignment. This is a great way to improve body image and awareness as a mom. The instructor, Caitlin, is in the final stages of completing her doula training.
Prenatal Pilates

In this workshop we will cover ways to keep the body toned, flexible, strong, and healthy throughout pregnancy. Pilates is an ideal way to prepare the body for birth as it builds mind/body awareness, strengthens the abdominals, pelvic floor, and back all of which will help in labor. The instructor, Caitlin, is also a working doula. Please check with your care provider to make sure the workshop is suitable for both you and your baby.
Pilates for Runners
•Thursdays 7pm
•Instructor: Caitlin Smith
•$150 for all 5 classes $35 drop in
This workshop is intended for runners who want to improve their running and/or prevent injuries. Runners tend to overuse certain areas of the body while underutilizing others. Through this workshop one will regain balance, flexibility, and strength to improve running. The instructor, Caitlin, is a competitive trail runner.
Preregistration is required for all workshops.
